Al-haj Mohammad Mosaddak Ali Falu (born 7 April 1960 ) is a Bangladeshi politician and a former parliamentarian from Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). He served as the political secretary to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Begum Khaleda Zia between 2001 and 2006. Corruption charges were brought against him after the tenure of BNP-led government. During the military-backed government in 2007-2008, several corruption cases were filed against this popular leader following his arrest. He, however, now enjoys bail in all cases from the High Court. Mosaddak Ali is also widely known as a successful businessman, who has made significant contribution to the country’s trade and industry. He is the President of the Association of Television Channel Owners (ATCO) in Bangladesh. ==Political career== Al-haj Mohammad Mosaddak Ali joined politics in 1979. In the 1980s he was active in anti-autocracy protests. As a BNP organiser and political secretary to the prime minister, he rejuvenated party leaders and activists and strengthened party bases across the country. His activities made him popular to his comrades and trusted to the party leadership. He also earned trust form the then Prime Minister and BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. Evidence of this closeness includes Mosaddak Ali being delegated important duties.
